The “We Found Love” singer, who is expecting her and A$AP Rocky’s second child, fanned suspicions of their marriage with a cryptic remark with photographs of the duo at Monday’s 2023 Met Gala, which honored late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
“shout outz 2 the bridal party….here comes the bride #idoKARL#METgala2023,” she said in the tweet’s description.
Rihanna looked stunning in an all-white bridal-esque Valentino gown with a flower-adorned cape and a towering train in the photos.
Meanwhile, the rapper of “F-kin’ Problem” wore a Gucci suit jacket and kilt over embroidered pants.
Aside from their amazing outfits, many were left wondering whether Rihanna, 35, and Rocky, 34, had already exchanged vows.
One admirer claimed, “She’s soft launching her marriage,” while another remarked, “Just say your [sic] married so we can all move on LOL the mysterious s-t is annoying.” @asvpxrocky @rihanna.”
“No bs, I think sis has already secretly married this man,” a third commenter remarked.
“RESPECTFULLY PLZ STOP SOFT LAUNCHING AND SHOW US THE WEDDING MY PATIENCE IS THIN RIRI,” a witty Twitter user urged.
Page Six reached out to Rihanna’s rep for comment but did not immediately get a response.
The “Rude Boy” singer and Rocky, whose true name is Rakim Mayers, started dating in 2020 and announced their pregnancy in January 2022.
In May of that year, the couple had their son, whose name has not been revealed to the public.
Rihanna then confirmed she was pregnant for the second time during her amazing Super Bowl halftime concert in February.
Though the couple has not revealed many information about the Grammy winner’s current pregnancy, people assume she is expecting a girl since she was photographed shopping for pink apparel last month.
