Dwayne Johnson Shares a First Look at the Wild Monster Film ‘Rampage’

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Johnson is now filming his crazy monster film “Rampage,” and he’s giving fans a sneak peak at what’s to come. The actor/producer recently came to Instagram to offer some behind-the-scenes photographs from the production. The first photograph depicts Johnson choking a uniformed soldier, while the second shows him and his co-star Naomie Harris being taken by a squad of troops while wearing flex cuffs. The second shot was taken around 4 a.m., according to the actor.

“Rampage” is based on the 1980s video game of the same name, in which apes and monsters ruin cities. The film reunites The Rock with Brad Peyton, who directed “San Andreas” in 2015 and “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” in 2012. The screenplay was written by Ryan Engle (“Non-Stop”), however the story details have been kept under wraps.
Malin Akerman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Joe Manganiello all appear in the film. The film will be released on April 20, 2018. Check out the photographs from behind the scenes below.
