Lady Gaga plants a kiss on a female bystander as she shoots a scene for Joker: Folie à Deux

Lady Gaga was showing her appreciation on the set of her new flick.

The Oscar winner, who is now filming Joker: Folie à Deux with Joaquin Phoenix, portrays a fan of the Batman villain.

Close up: Lady Gaga, 36, was ready for her closeup on the set of her latest film, and what a closeup it was. The actress kissed a female bystander in a scene for Joker: Folie à Deux in New York Sunday

In a scene filmed inside New York’s City Hall, the actress comes to a halt in front of a lady carrying a newspaper with the title ‘Crazy in Love’ and images of her character Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel and the Joker.

The madwoman, who would eventually be known as Harley Quinn, then put her hands on the bystander’s face and kissed her on the lips.

For the scene, Gaga wore a red, white, and blue flowery dress, a dark blue coat, and black harlequin stockings with a hole in one knee.
Her blonde hair was tied back into a half ponytail, revealing her dark roots.

The Bloody Mary singer was made to seem as though she had no make-up on.

According to NBC News, the sequences are being filmed outside the same building where a New York grand jury is hearing testimony against former President Donald Trump.

After participating in many productions as herself, the Machete Kills actress has amassed a remarkable acting CV in recent years.

Her breakthrough performance in 2018’s A Star Is Born got positive reviews, and she won an Academy Award for Best Song for the chart-topping tune Shallow.

Critics applauded Gaga’s performance in 2021’s House of Gucci.

The picture, based on a true story, was a critical disappointment, but it fared well at the box office, grossing $153.3 million worldwide.

There is a lot riding on the Joker sequel to see whether it can live up to the original.
The 2019 film received two Academy Award nominations, including one for Best Actor for actor Joaquin Phoenix.

The film grossed more than $1 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing R-rated picture to date.

Joker: Folie à Deux is planned to hit cinemas on October 4, 2024.
