From starting out as Rocky Maivia in the WWE to becoming one of Hollywood’s leading action stars, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Jonhson has surely come a long way. There are several reports on the internet regarding his nice manner and helping disposition. ‘The Brahma Bull’ just turned 51, giving his fans one more reason to praise him and wish him a long and healthy life. Among the hundreds in attendance were numerous A-list celebrities who helped the burly Hollywood actor celebrate his 51st birthday.
A renowned WWE referee, who played an important part in one of the greatest WrestleMania matches, turned to social media to praise the pro-wrestling veteran for his interactions both inside and beyond the squared circle.

The referee who oversaw the Hogan-Rock match at WrestleMania 18 thanked his ‘Brotha’ Dwayne Johnson.
Before his departure in 2020, Mike Chioda was the WWE’s longest-serving referee. Throughout his three-decade career, Chioda has been a part of countless memorable battles, none more so than the WrestleMania 18 encounter between ‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan and The Rock.
The former WWE employee has a friendly connection with Dwayne Johnson, whom he addressed as “Brotha” when wishing him a happy birthday. Aside from the well wishes, Chioda congratulated the 51-year-old, saying, “Thank you for all the great memories inside and outside the ring.”
The veteran WWE referee has lavished praise on the Hogan-Rock match in Toronto’s SkyDome throughout the years. He said earlier this year that no match has been able to outshine the aforementioned bout since. Surprisingly, the bout was not the main event at WrestleMania 18. The main event featured Triple H and Chris Jericho, but Dwayne Johnson and Hulk Hogan stole the night. The viewers enthusiastically liked the 16-minute battle, and their responses surprised the participants.
The audience booed babyface Rock and applauded villain Hogan, causing the two superstars to perform an impromptu show. In the end, The Rock triumphed after Hogan breaking his connections with the nWo during their altercation. While the audience was privy to a touching moment, Chioda was the closest to the action. Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson had plenty of things to do on his birthday. In reality, his prank made numerous of his fans’ days.
‘Birthday boy’ Dwayne Johnson pokes fun at himself as LeBron James and others laugh.
Dwayne Johnson uploaded a video of himself celebrating his 51st birthday only days after it happened. However, it wasn’t only the wrestling veteran who laughed. The slow-motion footage shows the ‘birthday boy’ attempting to relax in a hammock when the swing chair toppled, causing Johnson to fall. Interestingly, he did not spill the can of energy drink he was holding throughout the fall. Many people, including basketball legend LeBron James, were amused by the People’s Champ’s tumbling performance.
Johnson shown once again that he can go a long way to make people laugh, even if it is at his own cost.
