The Blonds’ crystal-covered, curve-hugging, hip-baring gown with gold belt and waist cuts glistened on the cover of PEOPLE. She accessorized with shoulder-grazing Sister Love hoops, a Shine Like Me ring, and matching metallic boots.
The singer wore a full-length fitted metallic gown with intentionally placed openings on her hips to show off her renowned tattoo. She completed the outfit with a high blonde ponytail and long wavy locks sliding down her back, as well as silver pointed-toe boots.

Clearly, the energy Blige put into looking flawless she also put into having a good time. The star posted a series of photos to Instagram showcasing her birthday look and reflecting on her night with friends adding the caption:

Her Grammy nominations capped off an incredible 2022, which saw her release her 14th studio album, Good Morning Gorgeous, on Feb. 11 — two days before she delivered a show-stopping performance of 2001 hits “Family Affair” and “No More Drama” at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and special guests 50 Cent and Anderson.Paak.
At the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, Blige was also given the Icon Award. “Through it all, I always gravitated back to my first love, music,” the singer said after winning the prize.
