Rihanna has graced the world once again with her unique maternity style.
On Sunday night, the We Found Love singer drew attention while out on a late date night in New York City with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
The pregnant actress wore a mesh bralet over a more typical white maternity bra, exposing her naked belly to the public.
Many fans and fashion journalists have complimented the singer for’redefining’ maternity clothing, recalling how she famously wore barely clad maternity ensembles during her first pregnancy.
Rihanna, 35, announced her second pregnancy during her performance at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show on February 12 in Glendale, Arizona.
The singer and her 34-year-old rapper boyfriend – actual name Rakim Athelaston Mayers – had their first kid, Noah Mayers, 11 months ago.
The singer stated earlier this month that she is experiencing ‘loads of sickness’ but ‘no cravings’ with her second pregnancy.
The Diamonds singer revealed that this pregnancy is “so different” from her first, telling Entertainment Tonight, ‘It’s so different from the previous one. There are no desires. ‘A lot of nausea.’
‘Everything is different, but I’m having fun… I’m in a nice mood. ‘I’m feeling energized.’
RiRi and Rocky’s baby boy was born in May 2022, and the 35-year-old singer is ‘crazy’ with him.
‘I’m in love,’ she said. I’m obsessed, and I don’t feel bad about it.’
‘[He’s] getting large,’ her companion continued. Beautiful, contented infant.’
The pair were speaking at the Met Gala, and the proud mother wore an attire that paid respect to the late Karl Lagerfeld.
She wore a gorgeous white Valentino gown with a silk cape adorned with white flowers and a 16-foot train.
The cape was made by 30 seamstresses and included 30 Camellias, 500 petals, and 25 leaves.
She finished the outfit with a pair of white rimmed sunglasses and huge false eyelashes.
Rocky wore a black suit jacket and kilt over a pair of pants, and he paid tribute to Lagerfeld with a single black leather glove and sunglasses.
Rihanna previously revealed that picking clothing was a ‘piece of cake’ during her first pregnancy, but the Work singer struggled with her style choices in the initial weeks after her baby was born.
‘Dressing for pregnancy was such a piece of cake,’ she remarked. But what the f*** do you do when you’re postpartum? It was all sweatpants and hoodies the week I got home from the hospital.
‘However, in the weeks that follow, you have no idea what to wear. Everything is either too little or too large.
‘You sort of just gotta wait it out else you wind up purchasing so many clothing you’re not going to utilize. Unless you get pregnant again.’
